More Than Just a Scent. It’s a Standard.

In a busy market in Amman, Jordan, I watched a man make any fragrance on demand. I’d say a name, and he’d have it. No box, no marketing — just the oil and the skill. That moment never left me.

I grew up in Michigan, and fragrance was the thing I was known for before I understood why. But it wasn’t until that trip back home that I understood what perfume could actually be: something crafted, intentional, alive.

So I started making scents — first for myself, then for friends, because nobody here had access to what I’d smelled in Amman. I got serious about the craft. When I finally brought my blends to a bazaar in Chicago with over 40,000 people, the response told me everything. People wanted this.

That’s where SHAHAMA started.

Hand-Blended in Michigan

What the name means -

In Arabic, Shahama means honor, chivalry, and nobility — values rooted in the same culture that gave the world its richest perfume heritage. The symbol is the Arabian horse, because no animal is more tied to nobility and freedom. That’s the spirit I want every bottle to carry.

How it’s made -

Every bottle is hand-blended in Michigan using oils sourced from Dubai and Turkey — regions with some of the best noses in the world. This isn’t mass production. There’s no factory and no team of strangers. I blend it, I fill it, I label it, and I pack it myself.

Who it’s for -

SHAHAMA isn’t for someone hunting a cheap knockoff. It’s for someone who wants a serious fragrance at an honest price — and who’d rather buy from a person than a corporation.
